Teesdale 2012 'Where to Stay' Guide

The production of the 2012 guide has again been managed by Teesdale Marketing. Publication and distribution of the guide is scheduled for the end of February 2012.

Following the decision in October 2010 by Durham County Council that it was unable to continue producing the printed Teesdale Visitor Guide, Teesdale Marketing stepped in to produce this publication.

The guide is highly valued by most accommodation providers in Teesdale. Many of them expressed concerns that the demise of the printed guide would be detrimental to tourism in the dale.

With all participating providers paying for their listings and the collation work done voluntarily by Teesdale Marketing, the guide was published on schedule at the beginning of February 2011.

Copies are available from Barnard Castle, Middleton in Teesdale, Stanhope and Alston Tourist Information Centres. The guide has also been distributed to premier high footfall outlets outside the region by Aha Distribution.
